Infuse your skin with the new Reversa Antioxidant Booster Serum
Montreal, Quebec, September 15th 2008 – Urban pollution, toxic car emissions, cigarette smoke, ultraviolet rays and daily stress all stimulate the production of harmful free radicals, overwhelming our body's natural defences against oxidation. The profusion of so many daily aggressions means the skin is in a state of continual oxidative stress that causes redness, dry skin, uneven skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, the loss of elasticity and the formation of age spots, all visible signs of skin aging.
Created to protect the skin from daily environmental damage, the new Reversa Antioxidant Booster Serum will also boost the skin's moisture level. It contains a unique concentrate of active antioxidant ingredients that effectively neutralize free radicals:
- Pure and natural Teavigo® green tea extract, whose polyphenols reduce the appearance of redness caused by exposure to UV rays. Its antioxidant properties help neutralize free radicals.
- Vitamin E, a lipid-soluble antioxidant normally present in low concentrations on the skin's surface, that helps protect cellular membranes.
- β-Glucan, isolated from the cell wall of baker's yeast, helps guard against oxidative stress by stimulating the skin's natural defence mechanisms.
Its delicate scent of citrus and green tea is derived from essential oils and other natural ingredients. Applied to the skin, the Antioxidant Booster Serum forms a protective barrier against environmental stress such as pollution and oxidation, leaving the skin smoothed and toned, firmed and brighter, empowering it to regain its youthful elasticity and natural softness.
"Formulated by Reversa's Research and Development team, the new serum is a powerful antioxidant protecting the skin from environmental damage in the most pleasant, invigorating way. In addition, it completes the action and enhances the performance (booster effect) of other Reversa day and night skin care products, such as anti-spot lightening creams, exfoliating glycolic acid-based formulas and sunscreens," declares Robert Lavoie, President, Dermtek Pharmaceuticals.
Reversa Antioxidant Booster Serum is also an eco-conscious product. It contains no mineral oil, petrolatum, volatile silicones, colouring agents or synthetic fragrances. Its packaging is entirely recyclable and contains no Bisphenol-A. The formula is paraben-free (preservatives used in cosmetics) and its cold manufacturing process consumes a minimum of energy.
Offered in a practical 30 ml airless pump bottle, the new Reversa Antioxidant Booster Serum will be available September 2008 in most Canadian drugstores at a cost of $45.
Advertising campaign
To promote their new Antioxidant Booster Serum, Reversa has re-enlisted TAXI the agency, looking to build on the success of their "See More Side Effects" campaign, which launched in 2006.
The new promotion will begin in Toronto, with an assortment of outdoor signage and a radio presence on EZ Rock. Web banners on sites and networks frequented by women will appear online inviting users to discover the "side effects" of the new Antioxidant Booster Serum (bewareofsideeffects.ca).
So... beware of side effects. You might find yourself in possession of amazing powers of attraction. What would you say if a hunky local policeman had a nap at your place wearing very little of the standard-issue uniform? Consider yourself warned.
