Montreal, Quebec, April 23, 2007 – After recently launching the successful ad campaign, “Reversa anti-aging skin care may cause side effects,” the company developed a new lightening cream for face and neck, the Anti-Spot Night Care. This nocturnal product combines effective ingredients which work in synergy to improve texture and skin tone while you sleep.

The unique formula contains a complex of anti-spot plant extracts Rumex occidentalis, Sophora angustifolia and Actinidia chinensis (kiwi fruit). The quadruple action of these plant extracts and glycolic acid (8%) contributes to the reduction of brown spots, freckles, sun spots and age spots. Complexion will become unified, nourished and rejuvenated.

The new Reversa Anti-Spot Night Care complements Reversa UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream for daytime use, launched in 2001 and recommended by Canadian dermatologists. During the day, the UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream with UVA/UVB sun filters including PARSOL 1789 (the innovative ingredient used in Ombrelle sunscreen developed by Dermtek Pharmaceuticals), protects the skin against harmful ultraviolet rays, while reducing hyperpigmentation problems.

Properties of ingredients in Reversa Anti-Spot Night Care:

Rumex occidentalis extract: Vegetal extract from plants that are native to the Canadian Prairies, known as a safe and effective tyrosinase inhibitor.

Sophora angustifolia root extract:  Plant from Asia which is included in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and used internally and externally. Contains flavonoids responsible for anti-tyrosinase activity.

Actinidia chinensis extract: This kiwi fruit extract shows significant anti-tyrosinase and anti-hyaluronidase (protects skin’s hyaluronic acid) properties.

Glycolic acid (AHA): An effective exfoliant, offered with the Time-Release Glyco-Comfort System™, which allows safe use for all skin types. Softens and smoothes the skin, while promoting collagen and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) synthesis. Reduces the appearance of various signs of skin aging (lines, wrinkles, age spots, dry skin, etc.). Helps the penetration of other active ingredients through the skin.

The Anti-Spot Night Care from Reversa also contains vitamin E and provitamin B5  (Panthenol) as well as hyaluronic acid.
