REVERSA UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream

Montreal, Quebec, August 5, 2006 –  Fall is the perfect time of the year for smoothing and rejuvenating  the skin that was subjected to summer sun. Do you wish to eliminate sun spots, brown spots, freckles, aging spots, perfume spots or pregnancy mask? Reversa UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream is your best ally. It will even tone down the irregularity of skin’s appearance.

Created by Quebec-based company Dermtek Pharmaceuticals (creator of  Ombrelle, a sunscreen line that revolutionized sun care protection in North America), the Reversa UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream, equally spectacular and innovative, was developed in the company’s laboratory and benefits from state-of-the-art technology and the expertise of its researchers.

“As with all our products, Reversa UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream is all about quality and efficacy. We created it for the modern Canadian woman with a hectic schedule looking for an all-in-one rejuvenating cream that delivers results. Reversa UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream provides moisture, exfoliation and effective sun protection as well as encouraging collagen production to iron out wrinkles. Its name implies depigmentation of sun spots and it does that, we think, better than any other product available. We like to think of Reversa as a ‘REAL’ product: Reliable, Effective, Affordable and Luxurious,” declared Robert Lavoie, President, Dermtek Pharmaceuticals.

Why are the results of Reversa UV Anti-Spot Lightning Cream so spectacular?

Due to the unique combination of two ingredients: Glycolic acid (AHA) derived from sugar cane, is an exfoliating agent that works effectively to exfoliate pigmented cells and Rumex extract, derived from plants that are native to the Canadian Prairies. Rumex extract has the capacity to inhibit the production of tyrosinase enzyme, also present in human skin and responsible for the formation of red-brown pigmentation. Tyrosinase inhibition reduces the formation of unwanted pigmentation allowing for control over human skin tone.

Glycolic acid (AHA) is a bioactive substance that produces specific and unique results on skin structure. Since the molecular weight of this acid is less than other AHAs, it penetrates the skin more deeply, thereby improving skin appearance considerably.

The double action of glycolic acid and Rumex extract contributes to reduce pigmentation spots, to highlight the complexion and unify the skin tone. Reversa Anti-Spot Lightening Cream also contains these ingredients: Hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and provitamin B5 that increase the moisture level of the skin while helping to restore its suppleness and firmness.

Since March 2006,  all  Reversa formulas containing glycolic acid (AHA) are now made with the Time-Release Glyco-Comfort SystemTM.  The system combines glycolic acid with arginine, and the skin protectant allantoin; this reduces negative sensory effects such as the stinging and burning sensation sometimes experienced by women with sensitive skin. These benefits are obtained by controlling the speed of release and penetration of free acid molecules into the skin.
