WARNING—eBay winner experiences a Reversa side effect.
The eBay bid on Reversa anti-aging skin care will be donated to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation

Montreal, Quebec, November 7th, 2006 – As part of their recently launched advertising campaign, Reversa offered women the possibility to bid on a collection of Reversa anti-aging skin care products, for a chance to win a bonus side effect– a charming young man – for an entire weekend.

The top bidder, Dr. Karen Breeck from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, paid $2,500 for a dream weekend  in Montreal along with her friend Sharon Singleton and the seductive young Reversa man. This prize weekend, a value of approximately $6,000, included transportation, the services of a limousine for the entire stay, an afternoon at a spa where Karen and Sharon were pampered with Reversa products, a shopping spree (accompanied by a professional shopper), a photo shoot worthy of a top model, an elegant dinner in a chic restaurant, and accommodations in a boutique hotel suite, Friday and Saturday night.

“Wish I could give out a prescription for everyone to spend a weekend like this in Montreal. I had forgotten what a wonderful gem of Canada, Montreal is. I hope that ‘Reversa weekends’ are here to stay and that these auctions continue so that more people can live the ‘Reversa experience’ and concurrently help support breast cancer research,” said Dr. Karen Breeck.

The new advertising campaign for the Reversa line of anti-aging skin care products was launched September 5. It has had an immense success and has generated a great deal of talk in the media as well as on the Internet. Conceived by TAXI, the print and web campaign features a mature, elegantly dressed woman seated on a sofa. A young Adonis, nude, is stretched out by her side. The website, www.seemoresideeffects.ca invites women to have the opportunity to interact with the brand to understand the full side effects that result from using Reversa products.

“Reversa offers a range of high performance products that improve the look of a woman’s skin. The Reversa campaign mirrors our products–it stands out from other ad campaigns for similar products because of its creativity, boldness, and effectiveness. We were inviting women to visit the auction on eBay to win a chance at fully experiencing the side effects that can result from using our products. We are happy to give all funds collected from the auction to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause we have supported for many years,” says Robert Lavoie, President and CEO of Dermtek Pharmaceuticals, the makers
of Reversa.
